WCA Viewpoint to Address Transitional Issues

By Thomas Lambrecht -

The Wesleyan Covenant Association will begin hosting a monthly livestream video program called WCA Viewpoint. The purpose of the new program is to answer questions WCA members and friends have regarding transitional issues United Methodists will need to navigate should The United Methodist Church’s 2021 General Conference adopt the “Protocol for Reconciliation and Grace through Separation.” The program will also answer questions about the WCA’s draft “Book of Doctrines and Disciplines,” and general issues related to the launching of a new, traditional and global Methodist church.

WCA President Keith Boyette will host the program and he will be joined by guests who will help address issues facing the church. The first episode is set for Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at 4 pm EDT. The episodes will be livestreamed via YouTube and Facebook, and as time allows Boyette and his guests will make an effort to answer viewer’s questions during the second half of the program. Thereafter, the video from each episode will continue to be accessible from both the WCA’s YouTube channel and Facebook page. All WCA members and friends are invited to participate.
