WESLEY’S SERMONS AND THE NEW METHODISM WITH DR. JASON VICKERS

Sep 10th, 2020

The sermons of John Wesley are some of the foundational documents that have grounded the beliefs and practices of the Methodist movement since the 18th century. What role did these sermons play in early Methodism? How do they inform our doctrinal standards? How might those sermons be used in the Church today and what role might they play in the formation of a new traditional Methodist denomination? Dr. Jason Vickers from Asbury Theological Seminary talks with Stephanie and Bob about these important questions in this episode of "Holy Conversations."

Jason Vickers and Ken Collins put together a fresh collection of The Sermons of John Wesley in 2013. You can also find Wesley's Sermons online.
